DAY 1: Arrival TO LHASA BY FLIGHT OR TRAIN
Your Tibetan guide will greet you once you arrive in Lhasa Gonggar airport or train station, from airport to Lhasa city is 68km, around one hour and half drive will take you to the holy city Lhasa; from the train station it is only 15km and takes 20 minutes by drive. You will have rest in the afternoon to acclimatize to the high altitude. Overnight stay in Lhasa.
DAY 2: LHASA CITY SIGHTSEEING, VISIT PATOLA PALACE, JOKHANG TEMPLE, LHASA OLD TOWN AND SHOPPING TOUR
First day of sightseeing on the high plateau, so we have purposely arranged only to visit Jokhang temple and Potala Palace. Potala Palace is the worldwide known cardinal landmark of Tibet. The massive structure itself contains a small world within it. Mostly it is renowned as residence of the Dalai Lama lineages (Avalokiteshvara). Jokhang temple is the most scared shrine in Tibet which was built in 7th century and located at the heart of old town in Lhasa. Both of these places are the focal points of pilgrims from entire Tibetan world.
Afterwards stroll on the narrow streets of Lhasa old town to meet locals people and visit their markets. A walk around Lhasa?s lively and famous Barkhor pilgrimage circuit and indulge in shopping where you can buy everything that you wish from one single street itself.

DAY 3: LHASA CITY SIGHTSEEING, VISIT GANDEN AND SERA MONASTERIES
Morning excursion to Ganden Monastery(about 70km drive from Lhasa), which ranks the first among the six largest monasteries of Gelugpa. In addition to its magnificent architecture and religious importance, there is a extremely fabulous view on top of the Ganden Wangpo Hill, and the scenic Kichu valley is behind Ganden monastery. It is strongly suggested to go hiking around the monastery and take a bird's-eye view of the valley. Early afternoon drive back to Lhasa to visit Sera monastery for its famous monks debating between 3pm to 5pm(not available on Sunday).*Visit Tibetan local blind school.
Visit local orphanage: Our team of Tibetan (English-speaking hosts) will take you to the local orphanage to spend time with our beautiful Tibetan children.

DAY 4: LHASA | YAMDROK LAKE | GYANTSE | SHIGATSE
Morning drive up to Kampala pass [4794m], you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso and spectacular views of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar in the distance, the turquoise colored Lake Yamdrok Tso is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet, the unforgettable vista of pincer-shaped turquoise water of the lake and amazing spectacle of Mt. Nyenchen Khangsar glacier from Karo la pass are the wonders of the day. Then along the Friendship southern Hwy drive to Gyantse, visit the famous stupa - Gyantse Kumbum, one of the most stunning architectural wonders in Tibet. Late afternoon drive to Shigatse. Overnight stay in Shigatse.
DAY 5: SHIGATSE | LHATSE | SHEGAR | RONGBUK MONASTERY | Mt EVEREST BASE CAMP
Morning visit to lively local market in Shigatse while your guide assist you to process the PSB permit at local PSB office, afterwards start driving to Rongphu via Lhatse and Shegar, cross over Gyatsola[5200m] & Gawu la pass[5250m], from the top of the Gawu-la you will see the spectacular Himalayan Ranges and its glorious peaks. The glorious peaks includes; Mt.Makalu[8463m], Mt.Lotse[8516m], Mt.Everest[8844m], Mt.Cho Oyu[8201m] and Mt.Shishapama[8020m]. We will walk, trek and climb through numbers of switchback bends that leads to the dry valley of Tashi Zom and then to today's destination - Everest Base Camp.
Rongbuk is the highest monastery in Tibet and consist both monks and nuns, it is a spectacular point to see Mt.Everest(to visit Rongbuk monastery, you have to pay the entrance tickets 25RMB per person on your own). Sunset at Mt. Everest is another highlight of today. Overnight at local tent guesthouse or Rongbuk Monastery guest house (dorm bed).
DAY 6: RONGBUK | SHEGAR | SHIGATSE
If you are lucky enough, you will see sunrise at Everest Base Camp. Today yo will have the option to trek from the guesthouse to Everest Base Camp, approx 2 hours. Or you can take the dedicated minibus(In winter season our driver will drive you up to Base Camp). Late morning or early afternoon start driving back to Shigatse. Overnight stay in Shigatse.
DAY 7: SHIGATSE | LHASA
Morning visit Shigatse Tashilunpo Monastery and the spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas, sometimes it is crowded with local pilgrims. Afterwards we will drive back to Lhasa along the northern friendship way, marvelous landscape and scenery along the Brahmaputra River as we journey back to Lhasa. Overnight stay in Lhasa.
DAY 8: LHASA AIRPORT DROP-OFF | LHASA TRAIN STATION DROP-OFF
Morning Lhasa airport or train station drop off, the time come to say your farewells to your guide and driver. Tour end.
